Just like Unity Modern Trailer Synth, AVA's Nostalgic Synth offers a fair amount of versatility when you need it, but I've mostly used it for it's just-on-the-edge of aggressive approaches to nostalgic synth sounds. They poke through a bed of other sound design elements quite well, which is great when you need to accentuate an arp line or give some extra bite to a synth key element. I don't use it all the time, but when I need something with some nostalgic grit, this has saved me some time fiddling around with sound sources so I can keep moving and hit deadlines.

some good sounds in here. Could use more sounds, but reasonable for the low price. The automated "please leave a review" emails don't stop coming though. Regardless of leaving a review already

I'm really picky about virtual instrument libraries because many of them are limited to static patches, with limited edit ability. With Nostalgic Synth, the ability to mix & match sound sources with balance control via a matrix, along with having the option to decide for yourself what the mod wheel should do, and last but not least, the randomizer button, is endlessly inspiring. And that this as a pro or con: it's a time-sucker because it's a fun-freakin' sonic playground. 5 stars.

I‘m very happy with this Synth. The Sounds are inspiring and the interface is not only good looking. Having a lot of fun with this tool . And I m excited to use it in future productions.

I've been diving into AVA's plugins these last couple months and I find myself using them more and more in various sessions and genres! "Nostalgic" is deep, inspiring, and truly... well... nostalgic, haha! It's been inspiring me to do more cinematic pop with cyberpunk, dystopian, and Blade Runner-style sounds, which "Unity Nostalgic" does super well! Great job AVA team!
